Well I've been reading and it says Hatched Pokemon don't follow the PID/IV Generator. Does that mean any combination works? Or is there another way to make hatched Pokemon look legit?

I think that with hatched pokèmon any combination works because it's impossible to recognise the difference between a RNG hatched pokèmon and a pokèsav one even with an in-depth look.

Btw, I'm trying to pokèsaving pokèmons which should look as if they were obatined using the RNG method. Using the PID/IV generator provided by Smogon I'm able to obtain a legit PID/IV combo but the problems come whit the shiniess. To make the pokèmon shiny I use the "ShinyvisSID" program that I've found here, the pokèmon looks perfectly legit but my SID changes every time I generate a pokèmon. Can the pokèmon still look RNG abused or the fact that the SID is different anytime underlines that the pokèmon is hacked?

That's probably because I had to change my SID to make those pokèmon shiny. Can this thing can be considered illegal?

I'll try later but to make you understand better: when you open up the INFO section of a pokèmon you'll notice that the level and the place where the pokèmon was catched show up. For pokèmon caught in-game and never pokèsaved it says "obtained at level 50" (for example). While for pokèsaved pokèmon, which look legit in the legality checker, it says "probably obtained at level 50" insetad of "obtained at level 50". I'm trying to understand if this is something that underlines that the pokèmon has been pokèsaved or not.

Despite looking completely legit on the legality checker, some pokèmons have the "probably obtained at" sentence in their INFO section. Does that mean they are illegit? I don't know if this question was already asked, if so I'm sorry but I couldn't find any answer by googling this problem. Thanks.

When a generate a PID for a pokèmon that can have 2 different abilities, which type of class and which type of algorithm should I choose? Never understood this. Thanks.

I think the legend was created and then just leaved as it was, I mean that probably is something they just created to explain why the three dogs appeared in the new games as legendary dogs and not as normal pokèmons. But the theory of the eveelution seems interesting. Nintendo should develop such things.

You're welcome, I had the same problem when I started pokèsaving eggs and there was no guide to help me, so I had to try and re-try many times

You should put "Day Care Couple" (the code is 2000) under the "egg hatched at" field, and then put the route where the egg may hatch as the guide states, so for example route 209 (for D/P/Pt i suppose). In this case the guide is correct.

Thanks for the guide you posted wraith but how can I know what number denotes any location in HG/SS? If I always put 3002 (farawayplace) then I cannot change this number into a hexadecimal number in order to fill the 46h/47h.

For example if I would like to make a Pikachu look as if it was catched on route 39, how can I know which decimal number corresponds to "route 39" if in the pokèsav this place is not showed?

Yup, it's legal. Nice job, looks very good, but I think a better more common algorithm would be Normal NDS or GBA.

It is definitely possible to upload videos from a flashcart; your opponent was just using some badly hacked pokemon. That being said, though, the other day I saw an Ultra Ball Celebi in a Battle Recorder video that was uploaded to the GTS. I thought Celebi didn't come in an Ultra Ball?

Well if you modified the ball with the pokèsav that could be possible and the pokèmon could still look legit. Or not?

This is the famous Greencat's Clefable, which I tried to "create" for Platinum. It should be trash normalized and all stuffs are correct (well, I suppose) and when I had a check with my legality checker everything was ok. Trash bytes valid and type was "Uncommon GBA". When traded to another game and then checked the trash bytes appeared invalid and the type "Unknown GBA". Can you please tell me why?

Today I tested the VS Recorder and when uploading the video an error occured:

"Couldn't upload the video because there was a problem with opponent's pokèmons"

This means his pokèmon were hacked? I have a Super Card DSOne, so I still don't know if with flashcards is possible to upload videos with a flashcard.

Well, it's mine fault. Bad writing, I've catched all the 493 pokèmon species, but still 4 stars.

I'm wondering if the problem is the third point. Should I have to win it into the game or is it just worth having the ribbon? Because if I delete all the ribbons from my pokèmon the stars in the trainer card are always 4.

Excuse me but, in platinum in order to obtain a black trainer card you should

1. Defeat Pokèmon League

2. Steal 50 flags

3. Win at least one pokèmon competition at master level

4. Catch all the 483 pokèmon species

5. Have a 100 streak in the Battle Tower

I've modified my pokèdex with PPSE, flags with Pokèsav, the streak with Pokèsav and put all the ribbons to one of my pokèmon and checked all the contests, and of course I've beated the pokèmon league, so why have I still got 4 stars in the trainer card?

This should be a Snorlax Wall. Investing tons of EVs on his Sp.Def and sharing the rest between HP and Def. because base stats for Def aren't really amazing. Protect gives him coverage against pokèmon that can outspeed is ridicolous Speed of 72. Amnesia pushes Sp. Def to optimum levels while Psychic protects Snorlax from Fightning pokèmons that he suffers. Crunch is the best investment in terms attack/effect because it can lower foe's defence. Leftovers makes him even stronger to knock down.

If you can, I'd like:

1) A list of all the modifications you made.

2) The save file from before editing. (You should always make a copy before doing stuff like this)

3) The edited file.
