Does that really matter? I kind of already beat the game so I didn't give the "credible" thing much thought. I guess I did go a little hack happy with the contest stats though.

Well, that's lame. That's the main reason I made the file. But even then, there are codes to make pokemon able to learn any TM and they code works fine.

Isn't the main way to use Pokesav exporting it into ARDS format and inputting it? @randomcouchpotato: Think that's really it? I've used pokesav for other versions and gave pokemon some fairly bizarre moves.

Hey, I just tried editing a pokemon for the first time and I ended up with a "bad egg" instead. http://img532.imageshack.us/img532/2787/attemptedpokesav.jpg I made that, set it to be the first pokemon in an unused box and yeah.... I thought I did everything right... Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? EDIT: I did try to find other posts on the subject but the search thing said neither "egg" or "bad" could be used as search variables. Sorry if this type of issue has already been answered.

What denotes "day-care couple" for where you received the egg?

I have HeartGold and I do already know my secret ID for that. So, if I'm just editing my party pokemon, that's the only section I need to worry about? And I'd like to keep one of my pokemon as a traded one (because he's proven to be quite the stud-muffin when pared with one of my others) but I have no idea what the secret ID of the other trainer is.

Yeah, sorry, I'm new to this but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. How much in the pokesav form do you have to fill out? I only want to modify some of my pokemon so do I have to worry about the Bag, rival name, money, play time, etc? I'm just a bit skittish since I've already put way more time into this game than is likely healthy so I'd rather not risk messing it up, you know? Thanks in advance!
