Trying to recover my childhood Pokémon Emerald Save. I didn't realise it was a repro when I bought it.
Cartridge (via FlashGBX + GBxCart RW): ROM is genuine (matches No-Intro, valid header/checksum), but the save chip is Unlicensed 512K SRAM (64 KiB), not the official 1M Flash. Not sure if the save issue is a bad write, a failing chip, or the battery.
Dumped a raw 64KB save via FlashGBX. It's not blank, clearly structured data, so it doesn't look like a total loss.
Problem: PKHeX won't load the raw 64KB file. Padding to 128KB two ways (duplicating the data into both halves, and appending 64KB of 0xFF) both give a 131,072-byte file, but PKHeX rejects both as "unsupported file type/size."
Would love to get this recovered and see what's on there.
