1. Sorry for the late response but I just got to this (my brother needed the computer for homework) so I did what you said but I think I might have a different version of Pokesav from yours because I couldn't find the column you were talking about on the spread-sheet. Just to save with any confusion I attached the screen shot of what the PID/IV Generator menu in my Pokesav looks like. I've also taken the liberty of processing an actual PID generation. The second to the last column (to the left) is completely empty all the way down and the last column is consistent with "?~" all the way down as well. Perhaps I may have problems with my regional settings language problems since the headers defining those columns are marked with "jibberish" (?à?i, ?à?E, etc..) unless this is actually something to do with Pokesav itself. If this is indeed a different version of Pokesav from yours are there any other discerning features or symbols I should look out for to define the "PIDs" as legally "shiny"? Anyhow, sorry for putting you through this trouble randomcouchpotato. I appreciate your help very much. If there is no way in this version, it's cool. Thanks. -Vitruvius
 2. That's alright, I'm really just aiming to create a "legitimate" Shiny Rayquaza. I've just loaded Pokesav up and got to the IV based PID generator and hit "generate". There are quite a few compatible "PIDs" here but I'm not clear on how to know whether they're for Shiny Pokemon or not. Are there any discerning features or items that should appear in any of the other boxes on the spread-sheet or is there another program like RNG Reporter that I should use in collaboration to find which "PIDs" correspond to Shiny Pokemon? -Vitruvius
 3. I think that means that they're classified as shiny Pokemon acquired through Poke-radar chaining... Meaning that you found them in a "shiny patch" while using the Poke-radar application in the game. In a conventional sense it is legal but if these Pokemon you made were Legendary then they're obviously not since Legendary Pokemon, for the most part, are "method 1" Pokemon (they are only attainable in one place and normally have an over-world sprite like Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina) and, even if they are the roaming type, there is only one of each Legendary Pokemon in the game thus not making them possible for "chaining". I think you'd pass the legality part but depending on what Pokemon you made you might not pass legitimacy. Hope this helped! -Vitruvius
 4. Is there any way to correct this "Unkown GBA Type" message in Pokesav? Or is it even necessary for legality or legitimacy purposes? If so, I would really like to know what I can do to correct this issue with the Pokemon Legality Checker's recording "type", for this Pokemon, as "Unknown GBA Type" so that it will state "Normal GBA" instead. If you could look into it and tell me I would be ever so grateful. Thanks! -Vitruvius
 5. Well, after a little searching around, I managed to find a fix to the Pokesav Pokemon Editor OT Name problem I was having. Apparently pressing "Backspace" on your keyboard a bunch of times resets the trash values below so that you can enter your desired OT name without consequence. Regarding the issue with the last line of the Legality Checker program stating "Type" as "Unknown GBA Type" in yellow letters it seems that some people on this forum state that it's normal in some cases although others say it's not and it should show "Type" as something else, so, I'm still a little torn on that. Anyhow, I hope this helps anybody who may run into the OT Name issue should anybody else who is new to Pokesav should experience it. Anyhow, feel free to download my Shiny Rayquaza "PKM" file. It's a good legitimate based build for anyone who is looking for a Shiny Pokemon with good non-outlandish IV's and stats from the Emerald version. Catch you later pals! -Vitruvius
 6. Hello People! I'm new here and I just finished reading the rules and regulations regarding posting on this section as well as the steps for checking Pokemon Legality. However, I have 2 questions: One pertaining to something I encountered using the Legality Checker and the other concerning the OT Name Input in the Pokesav Pokemon Editing Menu. So, without further ado, here goes! I just recently used the Pokemon Legality Checker to check a Shiny Rayquaza "PKM" file I edited with Pokesav. My goal was to make it as if I caught it in my Emerald version. The check turned out successful but the last line "Type" read as "Unkown GBA Type". Does this mean anything substantial to the Legality of my Pokemon? Will I be able to use this Pokemon without consequence in a tournament event (if it is allowed) or in Pokemon Battle Revolution? Another problem I encountered was with Pokesav's Pokemon Editing OT Name changer. Whenever I try to put my Pokemon Emerald's trainer's name "Folken" in the sub-menu and click "Ok" it doesn't show on the main menu. At first, I thought it was just an aesthetic glitch with Pokesav but when I put it to Action Replay and activated it the OT Name of the Rayquaza showed as "??????". It's not for anything else but it would look odd if one of my friends (or anybody else) checked my Rayquaza's stats and saw that it would sure look suspicious. This is more a question of legitimacy. What is causing this anomaly with the Pokemon OT Name feature? Is there any way to fix it? If so, please tell me I would endlessly appreciate it. Just as an extra measure to prevent misunderstanding I will attach my Rayquaza "PKM" file for anyone who should want to study it. Thanks for your consideration and I hope to keep collaborating with you guys in the future. Peace out! -Vitruvius Rayquaza 2.pkm
 7.

Hello again Randomspot555,

I was wondering if you could tell me which sub-category of the Game Enhancements and Game Mechanics section I should re-post my query as not to incite another infraction. Or, if you know the answer to my query, if you can just tell me saving me from having to re-post. Thanks man! Catch you later!

 8. Hello there people! I have recently started using Pokesav to edit my party Pokemon and have come across a snag with one of the Pokemon editing features. As you may have guessed it's the OT Name changer: Whenever I attempt to input a name in this field and click "Ok" the name never appears on the Pokemon Edit menu. At first I thought that it was just an aesthetic bug with Pokesav but when I inputted the code into my Action Replay and activated it the OT of the Pokemon in my Diamond version would register as "??????". I'm wondering if anybody else here is having the same problem with the Pokemon OT Name Change feature as I am and, if so, is there a fix for this problem? It's not for anything else. It's just that I'm trying to make a Shiny Rayquaza with as legitimate stats as possible and make it seem as though I got it through Pal Park from my Emerald version. If I could I'd use "RNG" Manipulation to get the Rayquaza legitimately shiny from Pokemon Emerald but unfortunately I don't know my secret ID there, I don't have Action Replay for GBA, and neither do I have a naturally caught shiny Pokemon from that game from which to use it's IV's to deduce the 13 bits of my Secret ID in order to get a seed. Anyhow, that's about it for me. If anyone could relate or share with me a solution to this minuscule problem I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you for reading and may you have an awesome day! -Vitruvius
