  1. I used that same code for HG. I got my SID: 62174. Later on, after discovering that save files can't be uploaded to a computer for HGSS yet, I uploaded a Platinum file (that had a Sandshrew caught in Union Cave on HG on it). Instead of it having a SID of 62174, it's 31916. I then decided to test it out. I created a Typhlosion with a SID of 62174. I transferred it back to HG. I battled something, and it gained a "boosted" amount of EXP, meaning it still hadn't originated from my game. I then altered the SID to 31916 and did the same thing. No boosted EXP. So, I guess the code is just... wrong.
  2. Of course! Figures I'd overlook a key step. Oi, thanks, Djx! I shall now attempt it again.
  3. Pokesav HGSS US doesn't seem to have the Johto locations in it when editing a pokemon, which makes it impossible to create a pokemon that originated from a HGSS game.. I've tried messing with the hidden hex values by following a guide, but it didn't do what I was aiming for; in fact, it didn't do anything. (I probably did that wrong though.) So, is editing the hex values the way to accomplish a HGSS-originated pokemon? Say, a Magikarp from Lake Rage. If it is, I'll just keep "trial-and-erroring" till I get it correct. Or am I just going to have to wait for a fix?
