My friends and I have been working on a Pokemon mod for quite some time, just for fun. We've hit a bit of a snag in our modding on a specific feature we'd like to implement. We'd like to move the Move Reminder to earlier in the game than Mount Lanakila.
Specifically, we'd like to swap the Move Deleter in Hau'oli city with the Move Reminder in Mount Lanakila.
We don't want to move NPCs around, we just want the current NPC that is the Move Deleter to instead "become" the Move Reminder. In other words, when interacting with the Move Deleter, we want the pointer that controls the text and mechanics that generate from that NPC to instead point to the Move Reminder's text and features, so in effect the Move Deleter becomes the Move Reminder!
Doing this is something within our ability, we've dug into hex code before and changed things around, but we've been so far unable to locate the Move Reminder and Move Deleter within the code.
Is anyone out there able to assist us in achieving a much wanted change to the game?
