  1. For some reason, pk3DS didn't "spit out" any files for me, it just changed the files already in the romfs file. A LayeredFS directory is only supposed to contain the data that has been changed. Do I need to use one of the "Rebuild" options? Note: I don't want to put a gigabyte or more data on my SD card, as LayeredFS files are only supposed to be a couple dozen megabytes. Edit: if you go to Options → About GARCs you can see in what file each piece of data is stored, and copy only that exact pathway.
  2. Is there any way of exporting a LayeredFS directory for patching physical carts? But first, I just need to vent for a moment. I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to open my "pokemon Y (decrypted).3ds", and had to use the decompress tool to modify it. There doesn't seem to be any built in way to export/rebuild a LayeredFS directory from changes made. I would appreciate if this could be added. All it is is a folder named with the game's title id, then inside that all of the modified files, so often just a romfs folder that then contains pathways like a/2/1/8 where 8 is one of the base files from the extracted game.
