I am creating a AR code since i have no way of editing my save. everything else works with it except for the fact i cannot put in the original trainer name in

I cannot put in the original trainers name into the pokemon data when i create him so he will always have a ?????? in that feild. I pull it up type it in and it will not display. i use vista but i would not think that would matter
