Use a fresh ROM to patch it, and name the output file the exact same name as the ROM you are using now. As long as the .nds file and the .sav file have the same name, you should be okay.

Just wanted to report a small bug I encountered. If you try to give Sableye a Golden Mask while you have the Amber Tear in your inventory, he will take the Tear instead and will not give you the Wonder Gummi. Wish I noticed before I saved but oh well lol

I'm planning on starting this once I finish 100%ing Gates and I tend to like to recruit everyone, do you have an exact number of how many (recruitable) Pokemon are in the game? I'm fine if it takes a long time haha
