Do they only generate if you transport the Gen 8/9 Pokémon into HOME, or some other way? (e.g if I would catch a Machamp in Sword, would it instantly get an assigned HOME tracker value, or only when I'd transfer it to HOME?)
I just want to transfer my FR/LG Pokémon (and soon any other Pokémon from Gen 4, 5, etc.) directly into Gen 8/9 with PkHex, however, I don't have emulators, nor a DS or 3DS with their respective softwares and games to somehow get my Pokémon over to transfer them "traditionally."
Hypothetically, if i were to transfer a Pokémon from a Gen 3 save directly to a Gen 8/9 save (of course first I would change the file variation first,) and transfer it to HOME, it would still generate the tracker value for said Pokémon, right?
