    Resurrecting this.....sorry I played around with the home trackers to observe their behavior and it appeared to me that when a Pokemon was received from home, traded to another game save and then re-uploaded to home, the Home tracker was overwritten. I'm in the same situation as the OP but if the Home Tracker is truly overwritten when it goes to a new Home account (which seems to be the case), then does it really matter?
