having this issue as well. "When I try to load my save file i get "invalid file" I got my save file from a legit cartridge using my gb operator. any suggestions? " I have rom of emerald, fire red, leaf green, saphire. legit rom and legit save of ruby (apparanly lost all my other games sadly) pulled via GB operator.
Fire Red Leaf Green are saving file sizes as Size 128 KB (131,072 bytes) Size on disk 128 KB (131,072 bytes)
all others are stating
File size 128 KB (131,088 bytes) File Size on Disk 132 KB (135,168 bytes)
so i took a look at the files as my file manager rounds the files not working to 129 kb
i notice on the working savs would end in ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ for about 5-7 lines
in the other files i noticed the same thing but with a slight tweak.
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ(random code)
For example
ruby code
emerald
this is in notepad++ i only know basic coding and have no idea what encoder to use to view the acual code. i did try a quick test and deleted the line of code interupting the injection.
this allowed me to upload the file.
Can you or someone who knows how to open the save code and see what that last line that is interfering with the injectors or if it is important or if we can delete.
