  1. Hey all, been lurking here for some time but wanted to ask some questions regarding how you approach legality in lieu of services like AutoLegalityMod. Firstly, the value of automating legality was really attractive to me, and tried using the plugin's latest version on an older PkHex issue, which didn't accept my Violet save due to it being too large. From here I have two options in terms of editing Pokemon saves. I could make a build using the AutoLegality mod which I am not sure how to do to begin with (if anyone has resources to this they could point to, it would be much appreciated - github information on this seems lacking and not sure how to proceed) or just use the generic PkHex which seems like a headache for what I am trying to do with save editing. Which method do you all use? I'm curious to learn more about all this as I am fresh, but intrigued nonetheless. Would making a build of ALM be worth it? Could I use my first method (older PkHex version, latest ALM release) to edit a modern Violet save? If so, how would I bypass the 'file too large' errors? I'm not super familiar on the legalities of Pokemon so I don't wanna spend a lot of time just trying to make the software work.
