I am trying to edit in a mew to my pokemon yellow I have a full party and 1 boxed pokemon. I am currently at viridian city . when i edit it in the other boxed pokemon disappears . it is still visible when I open in pkhex but not in the game. Any help is appreciated

Do you know what makes these pokemon special in comparison to just the regular ones . I found out about them on bulbapedia but there is not much info about them , only that they where given via GTS as a reward .

I have been trying to load my pokemon red sav file in Pkhex but I keep getting the binary is not compatible with the save file. I am using the TGB dual as the emulator Any help would be appreciated Pokemon Red.sav
