There's an additional bugfix patch applied to the nogba version of the files that fixes a no saving issue in a different emulator, but it causes saving to fail on melon, so it's not applied on the alternate patch. oh it seems i completely missed the Melon folder like an idiot and i instead took the gba patch instead, im gonna get the correct one and come back with my results. thank you for the response! Lets goooo! that did it i can save and i can finally get to play this game again with different pokemon! excited to get into it

Hello i just found this and finally got to playing it, im not far as im having trouble Saving the game. It gives me a Save Failed message in teh game. I'm playing this on MelonDS on my steamdeck but also tested it on the same emulator on desktop and i still get save Failed. is there something i can do to fix this? Im using the Midnight patch
