  1. @KaphoticsThanks for the reply man. I installed version 9.0 of wine-stable, actually all of the programs that I mentioned in the original post were running on the latest versions (wine-stable version 9.0, wine version 1.8.6). And also the application doesn't launch. I've read in this post that the best way would be to use wine-stable 9.0 because it has been updated to work with .NET 8 recently and thus it works now with the newest pkhex. I installed wine-stable 9.0 on my mac and downloaded .NET 8, ran both of them via wine-stable. The .NET installation works just fine it seems, the installer shows and I can go through the steps to install that, after installation of .NET 8 is finished I tried running the PKhex.exe file with right mouse click --> open with wine-stable. What happened is that the wine-stable icon will show in my dock for a few seconds jumping up and down and then nothing follows. I also tried making a bottle for it with winebottler, but that also didn't work.
  2. Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and pkhex in general, it's nice seeing this cool community. I have a problem that I could really use some help with as it feels like I've tried everything and I'm stuck. I run MacOs Sonoma on a M1 Macbook pro 2020 and I've been trying to get the newest version of pkhex to run on it, but to no avail. I want to edit my pokemon scarlet savegame and for that I need to use the newest pkhex which runs with .NET 8. I've done extensive research on the internet and on older posts on this website but nothing seems to work for me. I've tried wine-stable, wine, winebottler, homebrew and even porting kit and nothing seems to work. The only other option left that I haven't tried is installing a VM and running pkhex on virtual windows, but I don't want to install a VM so that's not really an option for me. I also have to say that I am quite the noob when it comes to wine and anything wine-related so it could very well be that I made a mistake somewhere. If anyone would be so kind to make a step by step guide for wine-dummies to run pkhex it would be awesome. Thanks in advance! Taka
