I'm transferring Pokemon from Emerald to Platinum. When I use "Tools --> Data --> Load Boxes" PKHeX opens this prompt: PKM Loading overrides: Yes - Modify .pk* when set to SAV No - Don't modify .pk* Cancel - Use Current settings (Yes) There's a mod post from 6 years ago that says it's supposed to "fake a trade" if you choose "yes". But I've tested both yes and no, and I don't see the difference between the two. Either way the Pokemon says it came from PalPark and lists the original game and Original Trainer. Is it supposed to do something else? Does anyone know exactly what the "Yes" and "No" options here are supposed to do?

Is that only for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? I don't see it when editing Emerald?

I see a commit on Github from 2016 that says it added Pokeblock editing support to PKHeX, but I can't find any more information about where to actually find this feature in the program. 2 years later in 2018 someone asks about Pokeblock editing here on the forums, and a moderator locks the topic and makes a post seeming to imply that the feature hasn't been added yet. Was support for editing Pokeblocks added and then removed at some point? Or does it currently exist somewhere, and I'm just missing it?

I'm currently playing FireRed and Emerald on an emulator, and I want to evolve some trade evolution Pokemon (Alakazam, Machamp, Gengar, etc). Can I just change the species of each of these Pokemon in PKHeX (Kadabra --> Alakazam), or is anything else required? Memories were only added in later generations, right? Is there any other step I'm missing to make this as close to legit as possible? Or is there a better way to do this? I'm using the current version of Visualboyadvance-M but I haven't been able to successfully trade between the 2 games with 2 copies of the emulator. It just gives communication errors. Is there a recommended emulator for trading between two Gen 3 games?
