No adding traded evolved Pokemon will not directly make Mable's research count it, just make sure to add a new Trainer OT when evolving them for the Dex. If you want to fix Mable's Research click Event go to Work 2 and search up F7B11ED70170BB0A, then change the 0 value to say 20. After you update the game and do anything that updates Mable's research, AKA catching a Pokemon who's type you haven't fully collected, it will automatically check if you cleared anything else and will give you the points for all of Mable's Trade Evolutions. Your correct I didn't do this, I just assumed the game would think that I traded it back to myself, and it does but it still needs to know who I traded it to. Setting it to Slayer fixes the issue for my Trade Evolutions, so thank you for the help. I don't remember if I ever needed to do this for Gen 4 games which is what I usually use PKHex for, but then a lot of those are RomHacks so I rarely pay attention to legality on those. The Mon was found as a Gible, which is why I was surprised, same with my Aegislash becoming a Honedge when I found it as a Honedge. Doesn't actually matter in the slightest as I don't plan on de-evolving them, I was just messing around without setting to see if I could figure out what the problem was, and clearly I had no idea as again changing the latest not OT trainer fixed Machamp completely, especially when I set and went and back to it. Reasonable, thank you for providing a solution for the Trade evolution anyways, I'll keep it in mind for the future. Thank you so much, happy to report that this worked perfectly. Set it to 20, and then caught a new Pokemon planning on using it to evolve, but it turns out anything that updates Mable research, automatically triggers the Link Trade as well, in this case adding one more Ground Pokemon. Some quick observations though A) Searching in Work 3 at all crashes PKHex, not that it mattered for me since what I wanted was in Work 2. B) Is there any way to search for Link Trade? You showed it as a link Block, but I can only search for it with F7B11ED70170BB0A, possibly because I only have Index, Value and Name, and similarly MOMIJI_COUNT_0021 fails me.

First of all I understand that this is very early, and this is basically an alpha of the support ZA will be getting in the months to follow, so I understand that messing with my saves could cause issues. That being said I was looking through the Event Flags and I have no idea which one the first Link Trade would even be as well as all the following ones, was hoping to just check it off, as when I tested evolving my Machamp using PKHex, I wasn't that surprised that the mission didn't trigger as chances are PKHex triggers something closer to catching a fresh Machamp after deleting the old Machoke rather than an evolution. I also noticed the Legality becomes unable to match an encounter from origin game, but that happens with most evolutions if you trigger it with PKHex for Legends ZA currently with the only two not triggering it being Gabite back into a Gible and Cleffa into Clefairy and Clefable for some reason, after testing it on 15 or so mons without setting. But then you did say that the legality was something you were aware of currently, and to not bother reporting it right now since your working on fixing it.

Just finished playing through the main story, and I really enjoyed it overall, it really does tell a genuinely fun and interesting story, and I'll have to consider on if I want to try out some of the post-game dungeons as well.

Also using PKHeX 22.12.01 and four of my Pokemon are marked as illegal even though I got them naturally in Pokemon Violet, choose to be safe and not change anything in my Save File because of it for now.
