Hello,

Could someone please assist me with chaning OT name for the starter pokemon I receive in Pokemon HOME? I wasn't aware that the OT would be the same as my username in Pokemon HOME.

As I lack a CFW I would need to trade it to someone for editing. Would that be an issue?

In the Black Skyscraper / White Tree Hollow, some ace trainers have the trainer class "The Riches".

Just made it to the champions league.

This is how the message appeared when I unlocked it:

MULTI BATTLE

[]is now open

Also, whenever I win the lady says something along the lines of this

For winning I will now award

[Trainer Name] with battle points.

Is this how it's supposed to be, or is it supposed to be "you" instead of my trainer name?

This is on v2 right? I made a huge update last night and I seemed to have fixed bugs we didn't know about lol I'm still at work ATM but should be home in an hour or two so I'll look into this thanks!

Yeah, that is on v2 (the one I am playing right now).

I am also not sure if this is due to the enlarged english characters, but when I picked up an item, I think there was a space before my name in the message:

" [trainer name] found [item]"

" [trainer name] put the[item]

in the [item category] Pocket."

If it is due to the enlarged english characters, I'll keep quiet. ^^;

When teaching TMs to pokemon, either of these messages appear

"Should a move be deleted and

replaced wi"

"Should a move be deleted and

replaced"

I think it should be

"Should a move be deleted and

replaced with [move name]?"

Also, after I have taught a Pokemon Draco Meteor, after the message that says it has learnt the move appears, after I press the A button an empty text box appears. This is probably the case with all move tutors.

Whenever I enter my PC and go to "Someone's PC" or "[Trainer Name]'s PC", a text box with a question mark appears before it loads the menu to withdraw and deposit pokemon, and in my PC, before the option to enter my mailbox.

Adding onto this, I have noticed that there are a lot of double / triple spaces between words and names in the world tournament, any chance of these spaces being corrected?

I can tell you where I see them.

Edit - Losing round 1 in the world tournament, the lady says this:

"Great job! This is to

commemorate your pBurghcipation!"

and

"Welcome to the

Pokémon World Tournamet !" (space after tournament should be removed).

Double spaces I have found when in the tournament bracket (as an example, as I have found more):

"Falkner vs [Trainer Name]"

Long time no see Storm. :cool: And we have one that keeps the original Japanese names, but v2 will have another version with Romanized names.

v1.1 will be out within 10 hours.

Are you guys going to offer a patch which retains the Pokemon's japanese name? I think this was done in the past with HGSS and BW1.

Are there still going to be katakana versions of new patches or will there just be normal patches with names translated?

When the Pokemon Center lady talks about the Pokerus, the word "lifeforms" gets cut off.

Use the latest patch (Version 7) which should have fixed the Battle Subway freezes.

Just made it to the subway master, so it seems the battle subway is fixed (it would normally crash halfway into my second / third subway run). =)

Edit - You might want to check Occa Berry's activation message, seems the name of the pokemon and the item got switched when it activates.

Everything looks great, thanks for this patch.

I want to contribute to this translation in some way by touching up some things / fixing bugs people find. Is there another git that holds Katakana names because the one available to the public only holds the English, literal translations.

There is still a bug that has been brought up quite a few times in this thread, is it fixable?

Edit - If you're talking about the logo's being used in the patches now then these new ones blast the current ones.

But if compared to the official ones, then those are better than these new ones.

Alright, third round. Yes, it seems people with 9 letter names (this time our good friend Hotvitlon) don't display any messages before the battle, but displays their losing message.

Edit - And after 17 rounds I receive a crash (It was another chef / baker looking trainer), so I guess people with 9 letter names lose their messages, while 10 letter names crash the game.

Retesting battle subway now. I have seen someone with a 9 letter.

The same person (Abbacchio) doesn't have any text showing before the battte though.

Just got a crash at the Battle Subway.

It looked like a Chef caused the crash this time. I was battling in Singles and didn't meet the kid.

i decided to test out the battle subway with the most recent updates to the git repository on my own, and just wanted to say that there's still a crash problem. it happened for me with a clown trainer in the 'super single mode.'

Everything looks great so far. Right now I am testing the battle subway to see if that kid crashes it (and the clown when I get to Super Singles).

Also, someone posted a new logo which looked better than the one(s) currently used. Is there any chance of them appearing in V6?

Sorry for not posting much, I have been busy with school work. So far I near to the second gym town and haven't spotted anything wrong when playing. Only pet peeve I have is when you find an item on the ground. What I recommend you do is change [Player] found [item] > [Player] found a [item], which is what displays in Soul Silver.

The only crash I have had has been the little kid. I remember getting far then that kid came and wrecked my streak.
