  1. You should have to go to the Power Plant, talk to the guy towards the top (that is kinda standing on a platform near the center pit). He will chit chat with you about how the place isn't working. On the way out, you should be stopped by a security guard who mentions that a suspicious person was seen with the part in Cerulean City. Return there to the gym and a grunt should run out the door. Follow him to the nugget bridge to challenge him so that he will reveal where the part is in the gym. After you find the part, you return it to the Power Plant. Then you can go towards Bill's house and interrupt Mistys date (been a while, you may have been able to do that before all this) and challenge her at the gym. After that crap is done by Bill's house, Suicune should appear, but not before every other event in the area is cleared.

  2. Can please someone tell me what's the use of the Key item Mystery Crystal?

i don´t remember how i've got it and the curiosity is killing me ..

Anyone knows what's the use of this?

    Thanks in advance.

Nothing right now, and in your case, at all. Its not available in game, and since you already have the crystal, and haven't triggered the event legitimately (via Mystery Gift), it won't work regardless. You'll have to remove it from your game and then get it by Mystery Gift once a PGT is made and the Events section in Pokesav HGSS is opperational, or an AR code is generated for it.

Had you got it the right way, you give up the crystal and find out its a Soul Dew, once given the Soul Dew by the examiner and some talking with Steven, the alternate Lati@s of your version will challenge you.

  3. Well all you need is 8 badges & you then need to talk to the Kimono Girls. You can find them in Ecrutek City in a building behind the Poké Center.

If he were playing Heart Gold, that would be true. In SoulSilver, Ho-Oh is your second bird. I'm not sure if you can go after Ho-Oh as soon as you obtain the Rainbow Wing, or if you have to obtain all of Kanto's badges first.

I personally can't say as I always do all of Johto first, and once I'm in Kanto I stay there till I finish everything and beat Red, after that I jump from region to region. But I always obtain my second box legend after I beat Red, SO I don't know when,...if, you are allowed to get him before that. It may be entirely possible that Ho-Oh will never show up until you actually talk to the man in Pewter City where you are supposed to get the other feather. Talking to him may set of the chain that trigger's the event.

@ bsure: Power Plant, Cerulean Gym, Nugget Bridge, Cerulean Gym, Power Plant, Route 25's Cape, Cerulean Gym. lol Pretty sure I got that right.

  4. Oh well, thanks for information and btw last time I visited serebii it just reads:

"The sixteenth gym leader, Green, is another Gym Leader whom doesn't leave the gym for you to obtain their phone number. Instead, to get his phone number, you have to show a Pokémon of full happiness to his sister, Daisy Oak in Pallet Town. Once she sees it, she will give you his number. Then, on Sunday Night, you can call him to arrange a rematch."

So how would I know exactly to get his number? Sorry, if this sounds insolent. I should've thank you instead of complaining myself ... at least I know the answer, thanks.

I don't know if you meant to change anything, but your quote is the same as the one I gave and DOES tell you how to get the number. lol

Anyway, it never hurts to check before asking, a lot of the time its often faster if no one responds for a while.

    Oh and @Temeez:

No...lol No fire Pokemon till Ecruteak w/ Magmar in the Burnt Tower.

  5. I've said it before, Serebii has this sort of information. Even if you guys don't like Serebii, it IS there. To quote them:

"The sixteenth gym leader, Green, is another Gym Leader whom doesn't leave the gym for you to obtain their phone number. Instead, to get his phone number, you have to show a Pokémon of full happiness to his sister, Daisy Oak in Pallet Town after she has massaged your Pokémon 5 times. Once she sees it, she will give you his number. Then, on Sunday Night, you can call him to arrange a rematch."

  6. Actually, I was more curious where the 4th Gen Pokemon were already predetermined to appear. I don't really wanna change where any of the Pokemon appear, but if a Giratina was place in the Pal Park, where exactly in the Pal Park would he appear? Mountains? Grassland?

More curious what the "natural habitat", out of the 5 areas, they belong to.

  7. Chalk it up to regional barriers then. 'cause around here, unless you are using tech to describe something specific (ie. a computer would be tech, you call for tech support, etc.), then techno is often substituted. (ie. techno geek, techno literate, techno savvy, etc.)

Don't ask why, its just what I grew up with.

  8. So I just recently learned that Generation IV Pokemon have Pal Park locations programmed into the games. I should have assumed this, as it would be required in case someone like us here at Project Pokemon decided we wanted to load a Gen IV .pkm into the Pal Park...just because we can. lol

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone (Sabre?) has the locations for those Pokemon normally unavailable in the park. I'm just curious where some of the Pokemon would be placed.

  9. You are correct with the download content bit, but you have to consider the fact that the PS3 has a hard drive to which it can store this extra downloaded information, unlike the DS.

Anyway, Most of the games internal data has been checked for any events with specific text that relates to anything special, and everything "special" has been found. Now there may be a minuscule chance that the Celebi event is in as long as the text for the event is the same as a normal wild encounter, ie. "A wild Celebi attacked", and there is no extra dialogue. Otherwise, the options are slim and none.

  10. We all know that. Serebii himself did not hack anything, but others did and they informed him about the Celebi Event being changed from capturing one, to requiring one for the new shrine event.

Just because Serebii himself is not THAT techno savvy doesn't mean he doesn't have some reliable informants.

  11. At any rate, the exact function of the R/Lock Capsule isn't known yet. The reason we say R/Lock is because it could be translated as Rock Capsule or Lock Capsule. We don't know which yet, though it is looking to be the latter. Once I manage to make a functioning PGT, we may be able to discopver what it does exactly.

As for your theories as to what the R/Lock Sapsule does, why would we need to restore fossils on our own when you have someone that can do that for you? Additionally, ho would a locked up Capsule awaken the other titan? At any rate, it's purpose has yet to be discovered, so we're just gonna sit here and twiddle our thumbs until I can get something working here.

I'm officially going with Locked Capsule. Lock on its own doesn't make much sense, and it's too mechanical looking to be a rock. My logic is unfallible. =P

Anyway, the in game text says: "A sturdy capsule that is opened with a special key.". I can see how he could guess that it would allow the other titan to awaken, I mean, it is a Locked Capsule, so whats inside? Possibly the other orb? If true, its a bit of a letdown IMO, but there doesn't seem to be any other interesting data in the scripts for it to do anything.

The only other thing known about it is that it is preprogramed into the game similar to the Manaphy Egg. And besides the receiving text, there isn't any specific text about it, so I've heard. It only says, "The Rock Capsule is being looked after carefully. The Rock Capsule arrived safely!". It may be released in the future, but there is also a chance that it could be completely useless ala the Magma Rock in DPPt, or the Rule Book, or the Seal Bag, etc. It could just be left over from something they planned and then scrapped late in development.

  12. Both of those are .... The beasts did have an "Origin" form... it was a whole different Pokemon before they died and were reincarnated as the beast trio. They don't need alternate forms, especially since they weren't designed to have them in the first place.

As for them being ??? type Pokemon of the statues you find in the Ruins of Alph...those are all Rhydon statues, and we know Rhydon's typing.

  13. No, from the game you migrated from, it will stay in the ball it was in.

For example, i'm migrating a Dragonite from FireRed which was caught using Safari Ball. After I migrate it to D/P/Pt it is still in the Safari Ball.

And when you think about it, it's redundant. The 3rd generation trainer releases the Pokemon into the park and your 4th Gen trainer then has to recapture it with a new ball, but it is then put back into the same version of Pokeball it was in before being released? They should have just made the Park Ball the standard ball for keeping the Pokemon in after transfer, or allow you to choose what you wanted them placed in this time around out of your ball pocket in the bag.

Slightly off topic, I know, but I felt the need to say that, and its the most logical place... lol

  14. Oh well, looks like my Togepi will continue to gather cyberdust. Anyway, thanks for the quick response DanteKoriyu.

I went through both games just to get the complete collection, and that's all my Pokes are doing right now. About 3,000 total from all the games and events doing nothing but gathering cyberdust or just chilling on my ranch... which is upset that it hasn't gotten a Platinum update yet so that most of the rest of my Pokemon can be put there.. -.-

Though now that I think about it, while it may not help with this project, it might still be of value to the guys studying the algorithms for the GC games. Guested probably wont put it in the package, but it wouldn't hurt to post it for those who want to dissect it. =P

  15. Triple post... version 3. Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh are almost completely done, Hoenn is next to be finished, then I start eh more problematic regions.

I also admit to some of them being shoddy work, but they were starting to tick me off. Its a pain to guess details from the GBA overworlds and occasional trainer sprites.

  16. oh snap, thanks!

any idea whether sinnoh sound will allow shellos to appear?

Not according to any site as of now, though most of them only have preliminary encounter lists. They don't have new forms though, since we have extracted the sprites and they are the same as Platinum.

    @ deLLeter -

I don't have the ability to translate any of that, and my response earlier wasn't directed at you. You may have to wait until Guested shows up.

I don't even have a guess what he could be saying to make you stop there. every time I go to Olivine I go straight through town, encounter the Rival by the gym, but no battle. I then run straight to the lighthouse, go up and talk to Jasmine, and then head to Cianwood. No problems, never been stopped, so I dunno....
