I hope this has not been asked before and I have just missed it. But I want to change the OT that all my Pokémon are linked to, but I wanted to check if the SId and TID are linked to the name, or can they be just random?

ok so i have pokemon that i have taken the GV to the max 10 with dust and the app says not good...would the game not let me put the GV too high??
