Hello there, I used this tool to edit the PSS data, but I've got a question. I used all slots and it worked like a charm, but can I get more mirage spots if I change those again at a later date? I read something about the PSS encounters being limited to 10 per day, but players being able to have all mirage spots on a savefile after multiple days. Is this true?

I see. Not that I get the knowledge behind all this, but this makes it a lot clearer. I was using HxD editor to edit the file, but that didn't show the single bits. I'll try it with something different. Thank you. edit. So I tried it out. I changed this to this That should do the trick right? I changed one bit to 0 and got 47, but my 4th bit was 0 to begin with so I'm not sure. I don't know why mines not 4F but 57 though.

What exactly does this solve? I changed the value of 0x462F from 57 to 47 and I'm not seeing any changes. Rotom is still terrorizing me with his advice. I know it's been almost three years and I'm sorry. It's just that I couldn't find any other clues anywhere.

So I changed the stats on a pokemon with the hack mode. The changes show ingame, but they are reset when I put the pokemon into the pc. The Battle Royal and Battle Tree also reset it's stats. Am I just doing it wrong? Or do I have to keep an edited pokemon on my team at all times and only use it for regular battles? Latest version PKHeX/PKHaX and Pokemon UltraMoon if it matters.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm just looking for a way to make a perfect pokemon to catch other pokemon with anyway, so evolution won't be a problem for me.

That was what I was referring to. So it's kinda like an internal value which determines the ability slot? And does an illegal ability reset to the normal ability in that slot upon evolution?

So if I use an illegal ability it will reset to the normal ability of the given slot when evolving? Thanks for the quick answer btw.

Can the PKHaX mode only hack the stats of a pokemon or can I choose more than one ability at once? There is an extra box by the ability of the pokemon, what does it do?
