  1. <p><p><p><p><p>Well, the central peninsula is certainly modeled after New York (the overworld map I mean) and even looks like there is a Central Park in it, but it is not completely the case. Cultural influences you say? Even in the 1600s, New York was a mixed bag. It is because the Dutch did not care who they had, as long as the person would work for the Dutch East Indian company they were okay to live there. As for the British who wanted land, land and moar land, they came to conquer New Amsterdam, but Peter Stuyvesant, then governor giving the isle to the English without fighting them. The British thought New York was a rather weird place just because of all the mixed ethnics and cultures that they even repudiated the thought of New York being part of the British Empire. The two groups that lost many of their rights after the British takeover were the Africans and the women.</p></p></p></p></p>
