XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 The pokemon in question is Shaymin. Everything is set right, I port forward TCP 80 and UDP 53 (Even though the Port Check says otherwise), I used Netstat -ano to make sure nothing was using port 80 or 53, and I connect to the GTS, no problems. (at first, it said it was unable to) It checks the GTS's status for quite some time, but... I don't see or get Shaymin. Anyone know why? EDIT: Okay, now it's giving me Error code 52100... -sigh- I have been trying to make this work ALL day....
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 OK, are you using the original HyperGTS or my modified version w/ DNS Server v0.3? The original HyperGTS's DNS server has issues (no idea why, was to lazy to debug in a language I'm not strong with). Make sure you have no programs like Skype, Teamviewer, or Apache running at the same time.
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Im using the original. Also, if you need to know, the router I'm using is Linksys wrt54gl with dd-wrt firmware. None of those programs are running. EDIT: I'm gonna try yours next. EDIT2: I'm not sure, but is the DNS server supposed to say something while it is connecting? I just tried yours, but the same thing happened, it connected, no shaymin, second time it connected, error code.
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Can you take a screenshot of HyperGTS & DNS Server v0.3?
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Before I reset my router, the DNS server was saying something while connecting, but it said that it couln't connect to the GTS and disconnected me. EDIT: one second... EDIT2: Did'nt have time to cut the other parts off, sorry...
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 I did, but I turned them off. and it still doesnt work =(
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Nothing happens while you connect? You edited the settings on your DS properly right?
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Yes, the Primary DNS is the Fake DNS. Should I put nothing for the secondary one? I noticed that my 2wire has a firewall, but I cant turn it off, for some reason it has to be active. It acts like it's gonna send me Shaymin, but after a while it just goes to normal functions... =( Normal GTS too o_O
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Yes, the Primary DNS is the Fake DNS. Should I put nothing for the secondary one?I noticed that my 2wire has a firewall, but I cant turn it off, for some reason it has to be active. I wouldn't worry about that too much. Mine has a firewall that's always on. Is the DNS Server v0.3 ever moving when you go into the GTS?
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 no, not at all. it used to, though until it said I couldn't connect. Edit: I am supposed to port forward to the DNS server's IP, right? Also, Pkmsendportcheck says udp is open, but not TCP, because either the aren't port forwarded (which they are) or UPnP is off ( which I did turn on once but it said the same thing.)
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 OKay, I seemed to have fixed whatever the problem was, but... It says "Unable to connect to the GTS. Returning to the reception counter. Then it disconnects me =(
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I'm stumped then right now. Perhaps one of the guru's from the GTS thread can help you out. I'm not really sure what to do at this point I would say the problem lies with your router or windows.
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Darn, oh well. I give up, because obviously It wasnt meant for me to do... One more thing. it says something about 192.168.1.143. Do you know what that means? It also says it spoofs the gamestats.gs.nintendowifi.net, to be the Fake GTS, but it sends it to that IP address. weird o_o
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Wait, it's sending the spoofs to the local address?? No!!! That's bad!! Run the auto and don't let it swap to local. It shouldn't be spoofing to the local address :<
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 I do run the auto, but it does the same thing.
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 BTW, I don't know if this changes anything, but... do I port forward the TCP and UDP to my local IP or to the DNS server?
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Ok, thanks for helping BTW. I have 3 different tabs for Port Forwarding however. Which one should I put it in? There's Port Forwarding, Port Range Forwarding, and Port Triggering. EDIT: How do I stop it from sending the spoof to the local address?
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 What it does after it says I cannot connect. This is the autoconfig, btw.
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 You'd have to use the new version I released which completely removes the local IP option. Unfortunately you won't be able to compile it unless you have Visual Studio 2010 Professional...give me about 15 minutes, I've got a few things I need to do then I'll post the server for you.
formlesstree4 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Try running the DNS server and GTS on this one. Stable Distribution System.zip
XxPhantomxX Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 Same problem, it still sends data to 192.168.1.143 instead of 192.168.1.122.
