egg hatching hidden hex value question

When I set egg hatched location to faraway place and then put the location in 46h, it shows up in the game as egg apparently hatched in mystery zone. I put in the date met and date hatched dates as well as hidden hex values for egg received from the daycare couple, in 44h and 45h. Am I missing something? Do I also need to put faraway place in location met?

Use Pokegen instead of Pokesav. It handles all known "hidden" hex values.
