Legality Checker question

if pokemon that I want checked are currently in a sav file, can you somehow extract that pokemon's data so I can run it for legality check?

Load the file onto the relevant version of Pokesav If the Pokemon is in the party, use the Save option available at its slot to create a .pkm file (make sure there are no blanks in the name). To check the Pokemon drag the file over the shortcut icon to the checker. If the Pokemon is in a PC box Use the Storage button in the Edit Section to bring up the PC boxes. Select the one you want and use the Save option for that Pokemon as above.
