Pokesav DS won't work as it should?

I'm using a DSi with firmware 1.4E and a EZflash Vi with unknown firmware. Probably not the newest one. Now with this out of the way,

My problem is that when I start up the Pokesav or PPSE or whatever the name was, it loads fine and all but when I try to touch the "Load Save" button in the middle of the screen nothing happens. I've tried to press all buttons, use the music version (music plays completely fine but Pause button won't work either), I've tried tapping randomly everywhere and DLDI patching it but nothing helps.

Is this a common problem? I've tried searching all over the forum and I don't even know if this is the right section to post in but I tried my best. Googling too (So don't even think of that response.)

I tried thinking through everything carefully. I thought about the folders in the file and everything when I suddenly remembered the Readme.txt and the homebrew menu thing. So yeah, I remembered what the Readme told me and launched the program through the homebrew menu thing. Works perfectly now, sorry for this unecessary post.
