Superboop Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 So yesterday, I was creating a Nidoking pkm. file and changing it using Pokesav (Like, the IVs, EVs, Nickname, place, etc.) After I finished, I tested it with the legility checker. The legility checker suddenly crashes for no reason. Whenever I try it again it crashes again. It seems that the Nidoking is the only one who did this; all other pkm. files I created had no problem on using the legility checker. So what is the cause of the crashing? is it that the Nidoking is seriously hacked or something?
Necrodox Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I'd recommend downloading Pokemon Generator, much more user friendly and works better than Pokesav (in my opinion). Along with that I download another legality checker.
Superboop Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 I prefer Pokesav. And I tried another one, it crashes too.
Bond697 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 post the pkm. and you should be using pokegen, it's just plain better than pokesav for pokemon editing.
Sabeta Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 It seems to me, that this sometimes happens when the Pokemon was incorrectly Savved. For example, I once had the Egg Hatched/Recieved date set as the same, and it crashed repeatedly. As soon as I fixed it, it worked just fine. If it is Crashing, it might be assumed that somewhere along the lines, something checks out as "Invalid" In your case, it is most likely the PID. You have changed your Ivs correct? This means you PID is no longer Corresponding correctly. Generate a new PID, and try it then; should work. If not, then make sure everything else is as Legal as it can get, and if it still fails after that, bother some of us to Check it out. You can send .Pkm files through MediaFire.
Bond697 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 you can also just attach them here. also, legal crashes if the poke is marked at hatched but a non-real date is given for its hatching/receipt. pokesav's 0/0/2000 will cause legal to crash. also, non-matching pid/ivs won't cause legal to crash, that's what it was made to detect.
STphn Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hey guys, I've been using the Legality Check vB54-20, and reads my Scizor 100% perfectly legitimate, but when using the most current version of Legality Check (vB54-24) indicates a hacked pokemon or unknown.why? I need your help please.
STphn Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I checked my Scizor again, I installed the new version of Legality Checker and it passed the check, but with others (RNG Abused pokemon), Sync is invalid D:! Help me please
Bond697 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 apparently, the sync can be invalid without there being any problems. sync isn't the same as synchronize. if someone questioned it, you would just need to open rng reporter and prove that the pid/iv combo is valid.
