Legal checker vs European events

I have a regigigas from the Dutch event got it myself last year. I got it checked and by type is says mystery gift static as type mystery gift how is that possible? Can I still see it as legal?

The legality checker seems to have issues with event Pokemon. The Summer 2010 Jirachi comes up as hacked when you run the legality checker against it. If you have a genuine event Pokemon then I would not worry too much about the legality checker.

I suppose it is only of help when you receive Pokemon that you are suspicious of, though it is very easy to make a Pokemon that will pass the checker without any problems.
