RageReq Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 I want to get into RNG but I need to know my SID. If someone with AR can please help me, it would be great. I don't know exactly what I'd have to do though so you may need to explain a few things to me. Thanks to anyone who helps, if anyone helps.

RageReq Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 thanks for the fast reply but I don't have AR. that's why I made this thread. I need a person with AR to find it for me.
Ziz Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 I really don't think it's possible (please correct me if I'm wrong) to get someone else's SID unless you physically have the game cartridge to exploit. Which means you're the only one who can get it.
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Yes that is true. Only you can see your own SID. If you trade a Pokémon over to another game, they will not be able to see your SID. Thay will see their own SID, not yours. Thats how a lot of people steel their Pokémon.
RageReq Posted June 19, 2010 Author Posted June 19, 2010 someone found my SID for me. They took a seaking that I had just caught and in less than 5 minutes gave me my SID. I tried my first RNG'd shiny and it worked.
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Great job! I still don't quite understand about how to find other people SID and sorry about that.
Boomer343 Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I'm pretty sure it required a lot of arithmetic... i have seen it done before... i just don't know exactly how to do so.
Aarux Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Arithmetic? No way would I be finding SID's for others if that was the case. They trade you a Pokemon, you extract the .sav file, then you view that Pokemon in Pokesav, PokeGen, whatever you're using. Takes less than a minute, really.
