Kyooee
So I'm a new user to this type of thing. I have a DSi XL, and after browsing your Pokesav FAQ and the Getting Started page, I could not find information on how to get my save file off of my DSi XL and on to the computer in the first place. I think this would be really useful as an addition to the FAQ. The Getting Started page says to click Open and open the save file from my computer. . . but I can't even get started if I don't know how to get the file on to my computer! If anyone could explain to me how this is done and what I need, that would be a really big help. EDIT: Oh yes, it would also be great if you added to the FAQ explanations for terms that new users may not understand. For example, I have no idea what a "flash cart" is, or what any of this means: "R4DS, M3 DS Real, CycloDS, Acekard 2, or Supercard SD". Also, what are Action Replay codes? All this new terminology with no glossary is just @_@
randomspot555
You need a flash cart or Action Replay DSi to get save files onto computers. Don't know what a flash cart is? Look it up.
Greencat
You need a flash cart or Action Replay DSi to get save files onto computers. Don't know what a flash cart is? It's a cart that is able to run Homebrew apps (downloaded from the internet) and ROM's you've backed-up from your original retail cart and play them all on in one cart. It uses a Micro SD where you store and transfer data. There are also multiple brands, some with different features. gbatemp has quite a bit of info about the different brands, so that'll be your best spot.
