I saved while in the mystery zone, and now my screen is black. What to DO?

I wasnt thinking and saved the game while in the void. Now, after i hit the continue selection on the begining menu, the screen just goes black. I heard about changing locations with pokesav, but i need a detailed explination on how to do it. Any other ideas are welcome. Thanks.
