What animal/insect/plant/whatever would you base a Gen 5 Pokémon off of?

Here's what I mean. If you could chose any object to base one of the upcoming Gen 5 Pokémon, what would it be?

Mine's a mosquito. It has high Attack, terrible Defense/Sp. Def and okay Sp. Atk. Accuracy is pretty bad and evasiveness is in between bad and okay, or maybe a bit above that.

Why so weak? Well, it would go near the beginning. And possibly trading it with an item (found in a later area) would make it evolve into some kind of wasp/bee thing that was an uber or something.

So, what would YOU make?

A new ball of happiness like Kirby (:creep:), possibly related to Jigglypuff.

Scaurab, a golden beetle, the evolved form of Pinsir who is in dire need of an evolution to make him more on par with Scizor and Heracross. A steel/bug type like his original counterpart Scyther's evolution. Sporting high attack, defence, and HP he'd be built for tanking. Larger and bulkier than Pinsir, the pincers would be removed, instead being given a second pair of large powerful arms, on his back would be a skull pattern formed by blue jewels as hard as diamonds. The shiny form would instead be a shiny black with red jewels. Points to anyone who can figure out the name origin, and the short story which inspired the design.
