asc853
Hey, I just bought an AR and I am having some trouble with it. I downloaded pokesav so I could build a few Pokemon, but I can't figure out how to transfer the code to my DS. I saved the file as an XML, then drug that to the "My Codelists" part of the code manager. Then I dragged that file to the "Nintendo DS" area. It asked if I wanted to overwrite the Diamond file, which I did. So the file transferred to the DS section, but there are no codes listed under Diamond. Help? Dually
Is there a PokeSav generated section?
asc853
There is under "My Codelists" but not under the DS section.
Dually
Ok drag and drop the one under my codelists to the AR side. Then hit commit changes, and wait for it to finish. Then try to load the code on your DS
asc853
Problem is, that doesn't work. If I drag just the "POKESAV generated" part over, I can't actually drop it anywhere. The AR instructions say you can only drag over entire games, not individual codes. If I drag the whole game over it asks if I want to overwrite the existing game. When I do that, the POKEsav doesn't appear in the DS section. I tried creating a new code alongside the POKEsav code in the codelists section, and that will transfer, but not the POKEsav. I noticed that when I enter a new code it has to have a space every 8 characters to work, but that in the Pokesav file there is not a space every 8 characters. Perhaps this is the problem? If so, is there a way to insert the spaces without manually counting out every 8 spaces, because that would take forever.
asc853
Never mind, I figured out the problem. When I downloaded Pokesav there were two programs to open. I thought they were the same, but apparently one creates proper AR codes and one does not.
