Guest Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I used Rudolph's GBA Backup Tool to dump my Ruby save file and distribute the Eon Ticket to it. I restored the save file after, but the in-game clock got forwarded by around two hours and days don't get counted anymore! I used a hacked version of Ruby with a clock added in every Pokémon center to reset the clock to the correct time, but whenever I try to restore the save file, it gets forwarded by two hours again! I tried deleting the save file from the cart before restoring: same result. I tried making a new save file with the same time settings: same result. Adding to that, the guy in the Space Center says it has been launch no. 9999. When used in an emulator, the save works fine.
Guest Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Heh. And you'd think I wouldn't try? It kept setting the time back to 2 AM each time I put the save back in. Even worst, it put the number of weeks played at 9999, and days didn't pass anymore.
OmegaDonut Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 See what happens when you link it up with a copy of the Bonus Disc\FRLG\Emerald and try the Berry Glitch Fix.
Guest Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Berry fix alerady has been applied. I'm giving my 3rd gen games to my friend anyway, but help on this would be appreciated, since he might want to backup and restore the save file.
