Ability Editing in 4th Gen

I'm attempting to edit Diamond and Pearl to include the CAP pokemon from the smogon website, however this means I need help with certain things as I am new to hacking. I need help with:

Creating New Abilities, specifically:

Mountaineer:

This Pokémon avoids all Rock-type attacks and hazards when switching in.

Persistent:

Increases the duration of many field effects by two turns when used by this Pokémon. (Gravity, Trick Room, Heal Block, Safeguard, or Tailwind)

It would also be helpful to be able to edit breeding data, e.g. what pokemon produce what baby pokemon.

If anyone could offer me help or advice it would be gratly appreciated.
