Just curious about making/editing a save

Yeah, sorry, I'm new to this but I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

How much in the pokesav form do you have to fill out? I only want to modify some of my pokemon so do I have to worry about the Bag, rival name, money, play time, etc?

I'm just a bit skittish since I've already put way more time into this game than is likely healthy so I'd rather not risk messing it up, you know?

If you are editing directly from a SAV file: everything in the front should be filled out.

If you want to modify Pokemon through AR: Don't worry about the main page, just fill out a Pokemon and edit the Pokemon itself. Of course you may consider finding out your trainer's secret ID first.

I have HeartGold and I do already know my secret ID for that.

So, if I'm just editing my party pokemon, that's the only section I need to worry about?

And I'd like to keep one of my pokemon as a traded one (because he's proven to be quite the stud-muffin when pared with one of my others) but I have no idea what the secret ID of the other trainer is.

Yep, and then just generate the code for the Pokemon only. Don't worry about anything else.

Just leave it zero as your traded Pokemon will get boosted EXP anyways...
