Can't put savefile back on vc

My friend wanted to play the Celebi Event on the original cartridge, so he took his savefile, put it on vc, unlocked the event, put it back on the cartridge and played the help (it was really cool) but now he wants to transfer his celebi on other games but the savefile seems corrupted, the VC refuses to play it, he doesn't know what to do, he asked me for help but I don't know how to read the hex language (I used HxD just a couple times). It seems that some parts are full of data but I don't know what to read or delete to make it work again. Thanks anyone for the help!
