faneto00 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Hi, I am in need of some assistance with an issue I've run into in my Black 2 run. Here's some basic info: I'm playing on an authentic cartridge, but my playthrough is a little custom. I have imported all my boxes from my Black playthrough via PKSM, which does include national dex mons. I have used pkHex to edit things like IVs and EVs, but have made sure everything in my boxes pass the software's legality checks. I've changed my rival's name, but have not edited any other block data. I have not edited any event flags, trainer ID, etc. I have items that I would not have access to yet because before importing all of my mons I attached a lot of what I had (heart scales, leftovers, fossils, etc). Everything I've done to enhance this run is legal via pkHex standards and in my mind shouldn't affect the playthrough. However.. The npc at the end of the old Nimbasa gym did not give me a Parylz Heal, so Clyde is stuck in front of the gym. I ended up injecting my save into a ROM file and just walked through walls to get in and battle Elesa, but he is still standing outside and I can't get back into the gym. I have done extensive digging and have only found one other case, which has zero useless info. From what I could tell it seems like since I didn't get the Parylz Heal, the flag for that wasn't checked, therefore Clyde doesn't despawn. I have found my way to the event flag checklist plug in from fattard, but I have no idea which flag it is as everything is ITEMGET. I've battled the trainers as well since the encounter is forced, but I also can't tell if they are for some reason unchecked in the trainer battle section (rich boy rolan, lady colette). Is there anyone who can tell the item/trainer flags and help? I would greatly appreciate it! Another weird side effect was after battling Rood in Driftveil the npcs did not appear.. instead, Zoroark from the memory link was inside, and a one sided dialogue with Hugh played out. Upon exiting and re-entering the Zoroark activated the memory link and after that, the proper npcs spawned in and I was able to receive Zorua. Edit: I mentioned that everything I have done to the file is considered legal, but there is one thing that may teeter on it and I’m not sure if that’s what caused this: prior to starting the save file I injected the challenge key and activated it via PKSM.
