Error with HeartGold save

Hello, 

Is it possible to delete your own cartridge save file with checkpoint? It seems that it created one but its 524kbs instead of 512, and suddenly the cartridge is not recognizing the original save file.

I tried opening that savefile with pkhex but got this error: 

The file POKEMON HG.sav did not load into a save file.

The file is not a valid save file.

Desmume (Im using mac) won´t open the save file either. Any way to see it this save file can be saved?

That save file is completely blank. There's nothing to recover from there.

Use TWL Save Tool instead of Checkpoint to dump DS saves. Checkpoint is known to corrupt DS save files.
