JKSV Restore Help

So I have a hacked Switch that is running Atmosphere on an EmuMMC. I used JKSV to get a copy of my save file for Pokemon Violet, and I was able to edit it using PKHex and save it. However whenever I use JKSV to restore the newly edited save file, it says it restores it and makes a backup but when I load the game it has none of the changes. I’m using a cartridge version of Pokemon Violet and only ever boot into the emuMMC.

I am having the same issue, I've tried to restore it on both sysNAND and emuNAND and neither is showing my backup up. But if I open it on pokehexk I can see every data correctly. 
Do you have to reach a certain point t in the game history to be able to restore the save file?

Hi there - having the same issues.

I believe that restoring in emuNAND does only apply the save within emuNAND. To replace your actual save you‘d need to boot into sysNAND. I tried it yesterday and it worked.

Although, I am confused if this is the right way?

I think my save is on EmuNAND(??) though as I only play my games on the CFW and that’s my EmuMMC. There is no save for any game on my SysNAND(??)

I did a backup from my sysnand, and I'm trying to restore it to sysnand. JKSV seems to be working, but when I open the game all progress is reset to zero. If I open the main, from the JKSV backup on pkhex I can see that all of my data is there.
