Egg edits in Gen8

Ok this is a question more decteted by my non experience, not direct at least, with save editing in SW/SH or Gen8 in general. So i tought that even if is stupid it would not hurt ask.

I wanted to know if i edit a mon born from an egg (already set is IV, Nature ecc...) in his heigh and weight (ex. a Charmander) to his max value 255, could resoult in the mon turning in to a non legal one? I ask becouse again, outside of bot i don't have any experience in edit on the switch and by proxy i don't know how the value Height and Weight are genereted in Gen8 (aside from PLA).
