Could I duplicate my Pokemon from VC Red to keep them in the game and also send them to Home?

I'd like to have all the Pokemon I've caught in VC Red, well, in VC Red, but if I transfer some of them to Transporter --> Bank --> Home, I'd lose them from the game. So, to keep them in Red while also send some of them to Home, could I duplicate them using PkHex, right? I put the duplicate in the Box, and then just send it to Bank. Will it be transferable?

 

Also, I should create another post for this but how can I get Mew for VC Gen 1 in the most legit way and being able to transfer it to Home? I hear the glitch method is not transferable due to some parameters.

Mew VC Gen 1 is actually available to download here:

It's the only Gen 1 Mew that can be transferred to Transporter->Bank->Home. I hope this helps
