WindchildWhimsy Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 I believe that's hard-coded, though I'm not able to check for the time being.

I am very bad at counting past a couple dozen lol also you CAN'T recruit everyone, there's a limit on how many Pokemon you can have (I thiiiiink it's around 554? don't quote me on that) Expand Is there a way to increase the limit?

Giraffes Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Would you be willing to make a few updates to the hack? An option to: Modify move descriptions to display numbers instead of stars for damage and accuracy. Display PP of moves in addition to damage and accuracy. Allow treasure town shops to take payments directly from the bank.

Allow treasure town shops to take payments directly from the bank. Expand 1. This would require going through every single move description, which isn't worth the effort considering move power is only a small part of damage calculations. 2. I'm not sure what you mean by this? 3. That is...very far beyond my skill level. If it's even possible.
Nera Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) The second one could propably be done, with a fitting modified UI. The third is a tad hard to do, as it can cause alot of unintended interactions. Would need alot of testing and fixing. And ofc someone willing to go through all the hassle. Edited February 6 by Nera
Giraffes Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) Apparently, the first one is already possible. It just needs to show the PP of the move as well. Like so: Tackle Hit ratio: 95 Power: 6 PP: 30 Why is it important? Because when a pokemon levels up and learns a new move, you may have to replace another move. Knowing the actual values help a lot when deciding which move to replace (or not), especially PP which is only shown after you've already made the decision. Edited February 6 by Giraffes
Pralunko Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Hello, this hack looks really good and I'm looking to try it out soon and I just wanted to ask one quick thing, can I somehow change the starterlist pokemon, I saw that the tinkitink evolution line got added and I tried to see if it was on the starter list and it wasn't, which is understandable, there's hundreds of pokemon especially now with the mod, so I wasn't really expecting the one pokemon I wanted to use as the PC to be there. But yeah, I know asking you is too much, since that opens the floodgates for other starter requests, so I wanted to ask if there's a way to do it myself.

BSBrent Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I've been loving playing through the hack but I was wondering if there was any documentation with all the info on where to get the added pokemon and regional forms.

Demichimera Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Hi, I've finally taken the plunge into learning how to ROM hack and also learned how to hack my 3DS to play this. The extra starter choices are nice and varied, and the other additions seem really cool too. I'm loving it so far, so thanks! I wanted to see Sneasel's movepool (as I picked it for my player mon) and after reading the comments here, I took your suggestion and got Skytemple. While I was checking that out I noticed that Sneasler's abilities don't change, it keeps Inner Focus and Keen Eye from Sneasel, instead of having Pressure and Unburdened as it does in the main games. I've changed this in Skytemple for myself, but I figured you might want to change it for everyone else too.
Applefox Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Made an account just to ask this question. Loving the game so far but one thing I noticed is that the new Pokémon added don’t seem to have any exclusive items (example being bulba claw for Bulbasaur) is there any plan to add these in the future? Even just for the starters? One thing I love about the original was finding these items, especially the rare ones from the swap shop that convert damage to health sometimes.
Shuckle Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Amazing work on this hack, it's just about everything I could ask for from a Mystery Dungeon game. The only downside I've encountered so far is that most cheat codes for Explorers of Sky don't seem to work with it, which I guess shouldn't be surprising as so much of the code had to be reworked. Does anyone know if generated Wonder Mail codes still work?

Barnse Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Does anyone have a infinite belly + PP cheat code that works. Wanted to test something and these codes would make it much easier. Thanks!

I'd really like to have that along with one for easier recruitment.
Stormy Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I've recently began a run of this game. I've noitced a few of the Pokemon are female locked. Finneon, Petilil, Ponyta and i believe 1 more. I also wanna ask a question. In the description for the mystery part is it's use for a new dungeon post game. If it's big spoilers feel free to just say so. I'd like to preserve the surprise if it is.

I don't recall adding any functionality to that item. unless you meant the part where one appears near the end of each Zero Isle to guarantee you can find the Shiny Legendaries in Zero Hoard. which isn't really spoilers imo
Stormy Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Is Evolution is still locked behind the post game story events? Also appreciated for the answer before hand.
