Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Fortune (1.2 Update Finally Out!)

created this account to say: this romhack is fantastic and has really enhanced the experience of my favorite game of all time. the addition of shinies has got me addicted to hunting all over again. this is all i've ever wanted in a romhack and more (OH MY GOD MANUAL CONTROL IS LIFECHANGING)

though i'd like someone to tell me: how do i go about unlocking zero hoard? i get the key at the semi-final floor of a zero isle, but it doesn't seem like i can do anything with it right now. i know it got reworked in the 1.2 update, but i don't understand what the key description or the OP means for me to do with it. i've only done west so far, but i'd like to know before i dive into the harder ones in the event that it's something i need to do while i'm in the dungeons. i know i'm probably missing something extremely obvious but i am rather dense and when it comes to this i'd rather know what i'm doing than take my chances (and have to do south more than once OTL)

If you have the key in your inventory, Zero Hoard should appear on the list of dungeons on the map, and it'll take you to the floors for the specific key you have. Fair warning that I'm pretty sure the key disappears after you complete the dungeon (I couldn't find mine after I did)

I have been having a blast playing the romhack. 
One thing though. The game freezes when i go down the guildhall to meet team charm for the first time. Is there a fix for this?

For those with the same issue. I managed to fix it by installing a sprite patch through skytemple!

Hi! I discovered this hack ROM about a month ago and I'm having a lot of fun. I am nearly at the end of the game, but I encountered a bug that's itching me. Upon evolving my female Swirlix partner, she changes gender and becomes male. Is there any way this can be fixed? I tried installing SkyEditor but apparently the game is not modifiable there and I'm having problems installing SkyTemple. Normally I would have tried doing this thing myself, but I'm a bit lost at the moment (⁠╯⁠︵⁠╰⁠,⁠)

I found a strange glitch that I'm not sure if it's from the hack or if it is a glitch in the base game. My steenee has two "always on" IQ skills that don't appear to actually be on. I thought maybe this is a glitch with the newly added species but my partner deino also has brick tough but it is clearly on. I don't know if this is something you can even fix or not, I tried to use sky editor but couldn't find anything about toggling iq skills.
