I used a script to make the Aurora Ticket appear in my bag in Pokémon Emerald to travel to Birth Island to capture Deoxys. I have PKSM and wanted to use it to make the Deoxys I caught Shiny because I didn’t want to have to spend countless days constantly resetting the game to get a Shiny Deoxys. But as soon as I did that and checked its legality, It said ‘Invalid: Encounter type PID mismatch’. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue? I’ll attach some photos so you can see(first three photos are before making it Shiny, and the last three are after making it Shiny)

Gen 3 mons have PIDIV correlations, you can't freely change the values.

Read our guide to properly generate/edit a gen 3 pokémon:

It uses PKHeX as reference, but you should be able to replicate on PKSM.

I had a read of it, and I just don’t understand. PKHex and PKSM are completely different. Please try to find a tutorial on how to do this in PKSM!

Try harder. The guide has everything you need to make it legal.

If PKSM allows you to edit PID/Ability/EVs then that's enough to replicate the steps on PKSM.

You can also consider to try the steps on PKHeX instead of PKSM, once you're used to it you can replicate on PKSM.
