Trying to load my save of Alpha Sapphire

I just started a new save on my copy of alpha sapphire and I just want to make my starter shiny.  I have a total of 3 pokemon and I've made it to the first town.  I made a copy of my save using GodMode9 but whenever I try to put it in pkhex it just tells me its an invalid save file and aborts it.  Any idea what to do?

better use this tutorial to extract your sav (main)
