Pokemon games question

Untill recently Ive never played pokemon games other than pokemon go.

So I wanted to actually playing the OG pokemon games (but the remakes of them technically)

First I played Pokemon FireRed https://mobdro.bio/ ,
And I have just finished Emerald.
I searched online and saw that the next game I should play is Platinum, but when I downloaded the game I hate major issues with it including the fact that the screen is like the size of my phone because it was meant to play on the DS not on pc.

So I came here to ask what game I should play next (chronologically) that doesnt have a tiny screen (and without lots of bugs).
