Help with corrupted pokemon crystal save

My crystal file became corrupted and it gives the message "Save data is corrupted and will be initialized". What I did was

1. Backup my save file in checkpoint

2. went to cheats in checkpoint and did the 80x balls ( wanted some masterballs so I could hunt lugia)

3. Went back to my crystal game only to see the cheats didn't work

4. Restored my backup

5. went back and saw my save data was corrupted

I tried to input my file into PKHex to see if my pokemon were at least salvageable to no avail. Whenever I try to put it in it says "File is too small" and it seems that the save just has no KB.

Am I screwed? I'm pretty depressed cuz I SRed for cyndaquil, SRed for Sudowoodo, and even got a randoom Koffing.

Post the save here, but if it's empty then there's nothing you can do.
