Level Up=Lose Stats. Help?

I created a small team in Pokesav Platinum when I first started the game. All were (and still are) at Level 5. But whenever my pokemon leveled up, they LOST stat points rather than GAINED them. Why is this happening?

I even went so far as to use an AR code to walk through walls, go ALL THE WAY to the Pokemon Day Care center and breed the same Pokemon I wanted. Then I just used Pokesav to edit their stats and levels to make them Level 5. Then I saved them as .PKM files and reopened them in a new game, but they STILL lost stat points when they leveld up. If anyone can offer any help, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

try going into stats edit and clicking all max

Because you probably put those Pokemon with stats much higher than they're supposed to? You are not getting away with putting 999 stats on level 5 Pokemon you know... as long as you don't level up or put them in boxes then you can.

Good point...I never thought of that. I TRIED to keep their stats in keeping with the standard for Lv. 5 Pokemon, but I might've gone a little over...I'll check and get back to you! Thanks!
